Comments: Represented above are the homepage (front) and sample subpage designs (About Us and Production “They Named Us Mary” pages) I created for a non-profit Boston based theatre company that strives to address issues that threaten social justice. Well known in the Boston community for their 10-minute innovative SlamBoston theatre productions, they represent a diversity of voices and current issues in their work. Through the allusion of nature and real honest presentation of fresh diverse faces and expressions, I designed layouts that suggested the concept of "another country" that‘s magical, dynamic, powerrful, humorous, and thoughtful. Weaving ACP Founder Lyralen Kaye's free form expressionistic poetry like “dandelions,weeds and jellyjars” and quotes pulled from ACP productions into the webpage designs, I sought to capture their witty humour and thought-provoking, open-minded spirit.
