"You witness the circle of each life of your ancestors and posterity - Your universes unexplored."

The hand-drawn digital illustration above is a still from my Macromedia Director animation: "Reminisce." All images were created with Photoshop and Fractal Design Painter. In my mother's poem, she wistfully writes of her descent into reminiscence, a haven from reality. Responding to her words with my poem "Your Profile Facing an Unchartered Past", I write about her past as I experienced it. A looped soundclip of Deng Lijun singing, "Forget Him" plays in the backgrounds.
